Ketchikan, Alaska USA
Spent some time in the Tongass National Forest. Did you know Alaska has rainforests?!?
🍃🌿🌱 It was so breathtakingly beautiful and there were super cute bald eagles 🦅 EVERYWHERE! We didn't get to see any salmon on this visit, but happily sampled wild salmonberries while bathing in the tranquilness of nature. There were banana slugs to avoid, bear birthing dens to explore, and so much more!
🌿 Everything was so lush and green due to the large variety of plant life and trees! 🌿
On the way down, we even spotted an adorable 🐻 bear on the side of the road chomping down on one of their favorites, dandelions.
It sprinkled on and off all day, but the rain was light 🌧 and as you can see I had a very thin rainproof cover to protect me. It was a lovely day and it was wonderful to experience true Ketchikan weather!
Ketchikan Ketchikan Ketchikan! I bet you can't say that 3 times fast 🙂
